Science and the Nature of Humans

In this blog, I plan to continue on with my ruminations about what it means to be human, as in, "human nature." We humans have been so brainwashed as to what we are, it is difficult to get through to anyone to get them to re-examine the subject. Probably, the primary reason for this is that we have a physical body, therefore, the basic Programming is that all we are is that body. This is reinforced by the primary basic Scientific Consensus Belief that physicality is the only thing that is Real--reality.

A major influence in the second half of the Twentieth Century was B. F. Skinner. (B.F.Skinner, founded his own school of experimental research psychology—the experimental analysis of behavior, {Wikipedia}.) After Freud, Skinner became the second major influence on forming scientific Beliefs regarding human behavior.

For Skinner the primary controller of human behavior was the perception of a stimulus, which elicited a response. Between the two--Freud and Skinner--any understanding of human behavior was sidetracked completely. This was due to the fact that, if you were in college and wanting to understand human behavior, what you were taught in Psychology Courses was Freudian Theory and Behaviorism. When I was in College, the Psychology lectures were about Freudian Theory; the Lab Classes focused on, primarily, Behaviorism. (It took years for me to De-program myself from my initial years of exposure to the Educational System.)

There have been many, "Psychologies" following Freud and Skinner, a major one being the work of Dr. C. G. Jung, none that I am aware of, other than Jung, has examined the aspect of the psyche. "Psychology," is actually the "Science" that denies the existence of that which it purports to study!

As for the other major Western Programming source as to what it means to be a human--Religion--you either have to accept what you are taught, or you will probably be cast out; for many in this world, that means to also be cast out of the Culture as well.

In actuality, the overriding major Programming source, wherever you live are, "the powers that be." In Western Society, it is the Religion of Science, as well as any other Religion with which you have chosen to affiliate yourself, sheltered under the Controllers of Thought. Don't believe in the controllers of Thought? Try questioning Official Belief Systems and Authority and see what happens. Much of our World today is in an uproar, because many have started to challenge authority.

Going counter to this Programming has been the fact that individual humans have long been conscious of, what have been called, the five senses, (sight, hearing, taste, touch, and smell), along with what has come to be called, a "sixth sense"--non-physical awareness' of various kinds.

This human ability to gain information non-physically has been continuously debunked by the enforcers of the Scientific Belief System. This human sixth sense, as well as some individuals' ability to see what is not physical, including auras, as well as to have non-physical experiences, has caused many people, due to their Indoctrination and Programming otherwise, to question their own sanity.

The main challenger to the Consensus Scientific Beliefs about the nature of humans has been the Scientific study of aspects of the sixth sense, called "Parapsychology." While it is generally believed Dr. J.B. Rhine, along with his wife, coined the term, "Parapsychology," the word was thought of much earlier. Actually, "Dr. J B Rhine coined the term 'extrasensory perception' (ESP) to describe the apparent ability of some people to acquire information without the use of the known {five} senses). He also adopted the term 'parapsychology' to distinguish his interests from mainstream psychology," (Wikipedia).

What is not talked about, in any of the Western Sciences regarding the nature of humans, however, is that, in addition to having a physical body, each individual has a non-physical body as well, (actually, more than one) which is/are primary to the secondary physical body. This non-physical aspect of humans has been acknowledged in the Orient since ancient times, however. The ability to photograph this body, developed by the Kirlian's in Russia, called the "Aura," was developed many years ago, and is convincing direct evidence of our non-physical human aspect.

Anyone not acknowledging their own non-physical nature, is gravely handicapped in any effort to understand themselves, as well as to begin to understand their nature as humans in a physical body. There is a great deal of esoteric information regarding the non-physical nature of the human body, if one is willing to do the research to find it.

With that suggestion, I end today's blog.
